MA: Franklin Regional Transit Authority Awards First Transit Contract Renewal

Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) and the city of Greenfield, Mass., have elected to renew their existing contract with First Transit Inc.

First Transit will continue to operate traditional fixed route, Dial-a- Ride and paratransit services that cover the largest and most rural geographical area in the state of Massachusetts. The contract renewal extends the agreement for one year.

First Transit has provided service to the residents of Greenfield since 2008. The new contract took effect on July 1.
