MD: MTA Rolls Out New Paratransit/Mobility Vehicles

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) announced the rollout of new state of the art mobility vehicles.

Forty new vehicles have been added to the fleet. The first 10 are now in service. The new MV-1 is designed to increase passenger comfort and safety while also reducing cost. The vehicles are specifically designed for the mobility community and equipped to meet or exceed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.

The MV-1s are manufactured by the Vehicle Production Group, LLC in Indiana.
