First Transit to Operate Shuttle Service for the University of Tennessee

Starting in June 2013, First Transit will begin managing and operating campus shuttle service for the University of Tennessee (UT) in Knoxville, Tenn. The company will provide transportation service to students, faculty and staff throughout the 550-acre campus.

Starting in June 2013, First Transit will begin managing and operating campus shuttle service for the University of Tennessee (UT) in Knoxville, Tenn. The company will provide transportation service to students, faculty and staff throughout the 550-acre campus. First Transit will employ a staff of 53, operating 20 newly designed shuttle buses that will transport more than 814,000 passengers throughout the year.
