In this role, Stough is responsible for overseeing First Transit University, a training program for all First Transit managers to increase employee awareness and improve customer service techniques, as well as other efforts focused on internal talent development and training. Her role will be a major component in strengthening First Transit's management network and building career paths for current employees.
"I am very eager to begin this new chapter in my career," said Stough. "The training and education of a company's work force is very important and something I take great pride in. I look forward to providing First Transit management and staff a strong and beneficial resource to achieve their career goals and continue providing a safe, efficient and customer friendly transit service to the communities they serve."
Vice President of Safety and Human Resources for First Transit and First Services Tom Harris believes Stough will be a great asset to the division.
"Gina's strong leadership skills and training experience will be extremely useful in our training and development program," Harris said. "I look forward to her fresh ideas and I'm proud to welcome her to the First Transit family."
