CH2M Hill, a global full-service consulting, design, construction, and operations firm, announces that Stephen Browning has joined the firm as senior vicep resident in the Major Programs Transformation business unit.
In this role, Browning will be responsible for strategic account management and business development activities focusing on major government programs in infrastructure, facilities, and energy within the United States and on a worldwide basis. He will be a member of the firm's Government Facilities & Infrastructure business group.
Browning brings over 25 years of successful experience in international program management, engineering and construction, including leadership of some of the world's largest and most challenging infrastructure programs. Prior to joining CH2M Hill, Browning worked for MWH as the chief strategic planning officer and the director of capital programs, responsible for major infrastructure programs valued up to $8 billion in the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
Prior to entering the private sector in 2006, Browning served 20 years in the Federal Service, including over 10 years as a member of the senior executive service. Assignments included Chief, Military Programs for the Army Corps of Engineers and Director of Infrastructure for the Iraq Coalition Provisional Authority. His contributions were recognized by the Service to America Award for National Security and International Affairs.
Browning recently completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota. Browning will be based in CH2M Hill's global headquarters in Englewood, Colo.
