MD: Transit Union Will Discuss Issues with BaltimoreLink During Monday Town Hall
Baltimore's transit worker's union will host a town hall meeting Monday night for Maryland Transit Administration workers and riders to discuss problems associated with the BaltimoreLink bus system.
David McClure, president of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1300, said the city's $135 million bus route overhaul has been "a big mess" and created more problems that it's solved since it launched on June 18.
McClure cited buses not arriving in time as a primary concern for the ATU Local 1300, among other issues. He added that some elderly residents in the city now have to walk further to get their nearest bus stop.
