After just over nine months on the job, Williamsburg Area Transit Authority Director Todd Tyree has resigned.
A WATA spokesperson said Tyree is dealing with health issues in his family. William C. Porter Jr. will take over the interim role in Tyree's absence.
Tyree, a Air Force veteran, worked in the private sector as a project manager prior to joining WATA in January.
