TN: TDOT Commissioner Reacts to $6B Nashville-Area Transit Plan

Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer had some frank talk Monday for those hoping the area's $6 billion transit plan might get state funding.

"We want to be a player, sure, but we don't know what game we're playing," Schroer said at a special transportation-centered meeting of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Last week, members of the Regional Transit Authority and Metropolitan Transportation Authority approved the nMotion plan, which Schroer called an "aggressive and bold statement."
