The Humboldt Transit Authority is expanding its services following a unanimous funding approval by the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.
There will now be a bus service for those living in the Bear River Band of Rhonerville Rancheria. It will provide transportation between the Rancheria, Fortuna, Ferndale and the College of the Redwoods. The Bear River Band of Rhonerville Rancheria said a survey in 2013 revealed tribal members identified a transit service as a top priority.
