ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Plans for a new multimodal transit center in Albany that has dragged on for years could be a step closer to reality.
Tuesday commissioners approved submitting a grant application to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
They're requesting 10-million dollars to build a state of the art center at the site of the current bus station.
