TN: MTA seeks used buses to start new routes

The Nashville Metro Transit Authority is looking to buy or lease between 10 and 20 used buses so it can start a number of new routes this fall.

The Nashville Metro Transit Authority is looking to buy or lease between 10 and 20 used buses so it can start a number of new routes this fall.

The agency posted a request for proposals from area businesses and transit systems on its website late last month. Proposals are due by July 13, and the buses are expected to be delivered to Nashville MTA by Aug. 20, according to the request.
