Six Killed, 22 Injured as Train Hits Marriage Party Bus in India

At least six members of a marriage party were killed and 22 others injured when a passenger train hit a mini bus at an unmanned railway crossing in Bihar's Bhojpur district tonight.

At least six members of a marriage party were killed and 22 others injured when a passenger train hit a mini bus at an unmanned railway crossing in Bihar's Bhojpur district tonight.

The bus carrying the wedding guests was crossing the rail tracks when the 659 UP Patna-Sasaram Passenger rammed into the vehicle near Piro station, police said.

Four members of the marriage party were killed on the spot and two others succumbed to injuries later. 22 others were wounded, seven of them critically.
