The VIA Metropolitan Transit Primo route in San Antonio travels primarily along Fredericksburg Road and Medical Drive connecting the University of Texas at San Antonio 1604 campus to the South Texas Medical Center and downtown San Antonio. At the recent South West Transit Association Annual Conference, attendees had the opportunity to take a tour of the route and service.
The Primo route is approximately 20 miles in length and serves the two transit centers, 16 inline station locations along the corridor, and local stops in the central business district and north of Medical Dr.
