Attendees were a buzz about the technology on display at the 2018 American Public Transportation Association Bus & Paratransit Conference in Tampa, Florida.
A variety of buses were on display, as well as the various fuel options represented. Manufacturers had transit buses, paratransit vehicles, articulated buses, double-decker buses and over-the-road coaches on display, as well as air conditioning units, seating, security systems and transmissions.
Attendees had the opportunity for close-up inspections of the vehicles, as well as learn more about things like electric fleet charging and a concept demo of using a hybrid transit bus in the event of a municipality emergency response.
