    APS SmartChargers are built for rail transportation applications. These compact, high frequency, high efficiency battery chargers are smaller, lighter, consume less power, provide internal fault protection and improved power factor operation. SmartChargers are available for battery stacks from 12V to 300V, up to 500 Amps and offer greater than 90 percent efficiency with more than 95 percent power factor. APS SmartChargers incorporate built in diagnostics and fault protection.  Optional OLED displays output voltage and current along with charger operating status. Optional remote communications and internal data logger stores operating history.
