Public transportation riders in Oshkosh may find themselves on newer buses the next time they travel.
The city's GO Transit system recently purchased seven new buses with from a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration.
The April grant, which totaled over $2 million, was split among Appleton, Sheboygan, Janesville and Oshkosh. Oshkosh was given the most money from the grant — a total of $1.2 million. The other cities each got around $350,000.
