Blue Water Area Transit is going to be getting 28 new buses.
The local bus company is going to be getting the lion's share of a $7.2 million federal Congestion and Air Quality Improvement Program grant administered by the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments.
The state is expected to match the $6.7 million with $1.6 million.
