Under terms of the five-year contract, MV will provide safe and reliable curb-to-curb ADA-compliant paratransit transportation for the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles County. The company will be responsible for operations, maintenance, dispatch, reservations and customer service with a fleet that includes mini-buses, vans and sedans. MV will also implement several service and passenger enhancements including text and voice notification.

With this latest agreement, MV extends its long-standing partnership with Access into its second decade after beginning initial services in 2002. In the last 12 months MV has provided over 806,000 trips for Access passengers.

“We are proud of our partnership with Access Services and thrilled with the opportunity to continue providing much needed paratransit transportation for the Los Angeles County community,” said Jim Schultzman, vice president, MV Transportation, who oversees the operations. “Our team works hard to deliver a high quality and safe service for the passengers we have come to know.”

“MV has consistently demonstrated its reliability and commitment to providing positive customer service,” said Mike Greenwood, chief operations officer, Access Services. “We are pleased to extend our partnership and bring additional enhancements that ultimately provide an even better passenger experience.”
