The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) has elected Via Board Trustee Lester W. Bryant to serve on the organization’s board of directors. Bryant’s selection was announced at APTA’s Annual Business Meeting and Election of Officers in conjunction with the Association’s 2015 APTA Annual Meeting.
“As our region continues to grow and prosper, we are reminded of the important role public transportation plays in our quality of life,” said Bryant. “I look forward to serving alongside industry colleagues from across the nation to bring attention to the vital connections provided every day through transit, as well as accessing industry thought leaders to address transit issues in our local community.”
Bryant joins representatives from across the country as one of 106 total members on the APTA Board of Directors.
