Metro Welcomes Two New Members to Its Executive Team

Randal Weaver and Olivia Jones have joined Cincinnati Metro. Weaver will serve as senior vice president of operations/chief operations officer. Jones is the new vice president of human resources/EEO officer

Weaver is responsible for overseeing Metro’s operations, fleet and facilities, accessible services, transit services planning and development departments, as well as the Cincinnati Streetcar.

Most recently, Weaver served as president of TransPro Consulting LLC, a Tampa based public sector management consultancy firm, where he led strategic operational initiatives for transit systems across the U.S. Prior to TransPro, he was the chief operating officer for the Rochester-based RGRTA, an $80 million authority that provides 23 million rides per year.

Jones is responsible for overseeing Metro’s Human Resources department and organizational training. She has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. She served as assistant general manager at the Muncie Indiana Transportation System, where she was responsible for employee benefits, workers’ compensation, property and casualty insurance, labor relations/negotiations, Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE), and paratransit operations.

She has also held leadership positions at Capital Metropolitan Transit Authority in Austin, Texas and the Union Pacific Railroad in Des Moines, Iowa.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also a veteran of the United States Army, where she served as a signal specialist and the Texas Army National Guard, where she served as a combat medic.
