SEPTA Bus Roadeo Sept. 12

Fifty SEPTA Bus Operators will put their skills to the test in a fierce – but friendly – competition during the 2015 Annual SEPTA Bus Roadeo on Sept. 12. The winners will move on to represent SEPTA in the International Bus and Maintenance Roadeo hosted by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).

SEPTA’s Bus Roadeo is an annual event that allows bus operators to showcase their talents. By navigating obstacle courses, they put their skills to the test and compete against one another for the right to represent SEPTA in a national competition. The action plays out in front of a crowd that includes fellow SEPTA employees, family, friends and other guests, who cheer the operators on while enjoying food and fun activities, including face-painting, a moon bounce and a dunk tank.
