ORT Hosts Arboc Bus

May 8, 2015

From May 8-11, Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) will be host to the Arboc’s Spirit of Liberty, a 33-foot, 52-passenger-capacity bus.

“This is the future of ORT,” said Joel Gardner, executive director, ORT.

The modular design of the bus has the capacity to carry up to 37 seated passengers, plus another 15 standing passengers or four wheelchairs.

The low floor and 1,000-pound wheelchair ramp capability would give ORT the ability to handle any transit need.

The future of Northwest Arkansas is bright.  With growth that ranks as the third fastest growing region in the country, the Spirit of Liberty would give ORT the capacity to address that growth and meet the future of public transit needs.
