Residents and tourists utilizing the free Music City Circuit will soon have more frequent and longer hours of service beginning Sept. 29 as part of the Nashville MTA’s biannual system improvements to its transportation network. The changes were approved earlier today by the Nashville MTA Board of Directors as part of MTA’s upcoming fall system changes.
Circuit buses traveling on the Blue and Green Circuits will operate every seven to eight minutes between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and every 15 minutes after 6 p.m. along 5th Avenue from Demonbreun Street to the Bicentennial Mall/Sulphur Dell area.
Service hours for the Blue Circuit will be extended to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday to match the current schedule for the Green Circuit. Also, the Blue Circuit will operate in both directions on 5th Avenue and has been extended to Sulphur Dell and the new baseball stadium currently under construction. It will continue to serve Riverfront Station.
The Green Circuit has been rerouted to provide service along 5th Avenue to and from Bicentennial Mall area and Sulphur Dell/new baseball stadium currently under construction. The Green Circuit will no longer serve Riverfront Station directly.
