City of Eau Claire Transit offers the following services:

Paratransit Services

Paratransit, origin to destination (door to door) services are available to those individuals whose disability prevents them from using the fixed route bus system. There is an application process to determine eligibility.

Accommodations

Do you have specific accommodations that would make it easier for you to use either our fixed route or our Paratransit services? Some common requests are: larger print route information, translation of route information, bringing a pet on the bus, etc.  You can make a request and we will do what we can to make a reasonable accommodation. Please call 715-839-5111 during our regular business hours and we will address your request.

City Bus Routes

Bus Routes have been carefully designed to serve medical facilities, retail areas, and congregate housing. The city buses also serve neighborhoods as much as possible, particularly those that have a high concentration of seniors and residents with disabilities.

Bike Racks

All buses feature bike racks that accommodate two bicycles. The racks are available to use free of cost; simply inform the driver that would like to utilize the bike rack.

Accessible Buses

All 22 buses in the Eau Claire Transit fleet are accessible to individuals using mobility devices and who otherwise may have difficulty boarding vehicles. They kneel close to the ground so they are level with the curb and are low-floored with no steps to negotiate. All buses also have a ramp for boarding and space available for the safe transportation of 2 individuals who desire to remain seated in their mobility device.
