Some locals are advocating for an expansion to public transportation, specifically the Ohio Valley and Eastern Ohio Regional Transit Authority.
Their board meeting scheduled for Wednesday night was canceled due to a lack of quorum.
Jim Kocher from Sunset Heights said he would like to see an increase of pick-up and drop-off times to The Highlands and the Ohio Valley Mall, plus more bus routes to choose from.
