Calgary Transit is warning their riders of 40 route changes and tweaks — out of their 155 routes. They're embarking on the megaproject to eliminate duplication and create more efficient routes as they bring several Bus Rapid Transit Routes in to service.
According to a spokesperson, this is one of the transit group's largest undertakings as they currently service 155 bus routes citywide.
This is happening because the city's launching three new BRT routes: 17 Avenue SE, North Crosstown and South Crosstown.
