MN: Metro Transit Now Offering All-Day Passes

Aug. 4, 2016
The area's largest transit agency recently debuted its All-Day Pass, which allows riders to take unlimited trips on local and off-peak express buses and light-rail trains from the moment of purchase until 2 a.m. the following day.

Metro Transit has a new fare option for transit users heading to concerts, sporting events and those who make multiple trips a day.

The area's largest transit agency recently debuted its All-Day Pass, which allows riders to take unlimited trips on local and off-peak express buses and light-rail trains from the moment of purchase until 2 a.m. the following day. The new pass, which costs between $1 and $4.50 depending on time of purchase, is not valid on Northstar commuter trains.

The All-Day pass replaces the 6-hour option that had been popular with eventgoers, but sometimes left them scrambling to get home before their ticket expired.
