The Ventura County Transportation Commission has named Martin Erickson its new public transit director.
Erickson, who will supervise VCTC transit activities, assumes his responsibilities this month.
Erickson, a Ventura resident, will supervise countywide transit organization and reorganization studies, shortrange transit planning, operation of the VCTC Intercity Transit services, development of the region’s coordinated paratransit plan, the countywide smartcard program, and transit information and customer services.
