Oct. 27, 2020
The $267-million, 18-mile project aims to build a high-quality BRT line that will connect the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) has been released by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (L.A. Metro) and has commenced its public review and comment period for the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Corridor Project. L.A. Metro will hold virtual public hearings to provide information and gather feedback from the community on the project. The public comment period runs through Dec. 10, 2020.

The $267-million, 18-mile project aims to build a high-quality BRT line that will connect the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys, traveling east-west between the North Hollywood Metro B (Red)/G (Orange) Line Station and Pasadena City College with stops in downtown Burbank, Glendale and Eagle Rock, depending on the route option.

The report released is designed to provide the community with information on potential environmental impacts, identify ways to prevent potential damage to the environment and provide information about the decision-making process used by L.A. Metro on this project. It also includes information on potential route options and alternatives to be considered by the public.
