Bay Area Bike Share Offers Free Rides on May 12th
This promotion comes as Bay Area Bike Share is beginning a tenfold expansion over the next two years, making bicycling even more accessible to people in new neighborhoods and new cities, including Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville.
“We are so excited to grow Bay Area Bike Share and make biking more accessible for more of the Bay Area,” said Emily Stapleton, General Manager of Bay Area Bike Share. “Bike to Work Day is the perfect time to try out bike share and see what’s in store as we prepare to grow the system from 700 to 7,000 bikes.”
Starting today, individuals can sign up at bayareabikeshare.com/btwd(link is external) to obtain a promotion code for 24-hours of unlimited short trips with Bay Area Bike Share on May 12th.
