Mass Transit’s 40 Under 40 honorees highlighted in “Transit Unplugged” podcast

The two-part series interviews a handful of 2020’s 40 Under 40 honorees discussing the current state of the North American transit industry and how the future will be shaped.

A popular industry podcast, Transit Unplugged, will be highlighting honorees of Mass Transit’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2020 as a two-part series.  

The podcast is part of the “Comfort’s Corner” edition of the show, where host Paul Comfort examines topics surrounding COVID-19.

The first episode includes interviews with Marco D'Angelo, president and CEO of the Canadian Urban Transit Association and Ivan Rodriguez, the director of government and industry affairs and policy advisor to the CEO at Jacksonville Transportation Authority. The honorees dive into their journeys in the public transit industry, the important work they are doing today, and their ideas regarding the future of public transportation. Mass Transit Executive Editor Mischa Wanek-Libman also discusses the selection process behind the program, it’s rise in popularity and relevance in today’s industry.

The second episode, which will air Oct. 7, will include interviews with Alice Grossman, Jerome Horne and Tyler Means.
