The 6.6-mile initial segment of the Link 2 Line includes eight stations, with service every 10 minutes, 16 hours a day, seven days a week.
The 750-ton, 131-meter long machine has spent the past two years carefully excavating one of two 6.3-kilometer tunnels that stretches from Renforth Drive to Scarlett Road.
The train will be transported from Honolulu Harbor to the Rail Operations Center in three separate shipments.
