Skilled craft workers at Metro-North’s North White Plains Shop applied a vinyl wrap to Metro-North’s locomotive No. 201 that pays tribute to Conrail, the railroad which is Metro-North's immediate predecessor.
Alstom will supply CTDOT with the delivery of 60 single-level fully customized, sustainable, next-generation commuter rail cars specifically designed for North American rail systems.

The $167 million program encompasses a 2.1-mile commuter rail extension from the Fort Worth T&P Station to a new station.
The project is Metro-North Railroad’s first transit-oriented development project and features approximately 27,000 square feet of retail/commercial space and two landscaped public plazas with connections to the Metro-North Harrison Station platform.
