Decision Lens announced it was selected by U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to prioritize funding for its research and development and IT portfolios.

Decision Lens provides a structured prioritization process to enable its key decision makers to reach calculated decisions for each program. In addition to prioritizing initiatives across these complex portfolios the FRA plans to use Decision Lens to allocate resources optimally across competing projects.

“The U.S. Federal Railroad Administration is quickly growing to accommodate the ever-increasing needs and burdens being placed on our nation’s railways and ultimately required Decision Lens to help improve efficiencies and budget dollars for its R and D and IT portfolios,” said John Kealey, CEO of Decision Lens. “Government transportation organizations like the Federal Railroad Administration deal with the same complexities other large organizations grapple with; making calculated decisions involving budgets. When you combine multiple decision makers and ask them to come to agreement involving millions, if not billions of dollars, it can be a very cumbersome process without Decision Lens.”
