Alstom is in charge of more than 70 percent of the infrastructure contract, which includes the supply of power (medium and low voltage, beyond the rigid catenary system), telecommunications (monitoring stations for cameras, VoIP phone system, as well as the TV and sound system in the stations), a local control system (information from stations to control centre) and auxiliary systems (fire detection, lighting, ventilation and yard equipment).

This enduring partnership aims to provide Sao Paulo citizens with the best transport solutions,” said Marco Contin, managing director of Alstom Transport in Brazil
