VEAM CIR Blue Generation
ITT Veam’s CIR is a versatile multi-pin connector series engineered to operate in the most hostile transit applications. Blue Generation RoHS compliant plating from ITT Veam delivers enhanced protection for the CIR range by providing a best-in-class combination of extreme durability, conductivity, and shielding performance. A combination of Zinc, Nickel and Chrome III Blue Generation delivers salt spray resistance to 500 hours, offering ruggedized conductivity and shielding at the same time. Able to withstanding temperatures between -55 °C and 125 °C, Blue Generation plating is available on all aluminum-based ITT Veam connectors extending beyond the CIR connectors, all meeting the mechanical, electrical, fire, smoke and toxicity requirements of the global rail market.
