Oregon’s Cascades East Transit (CET) will offer free public wireless internet on select routes. Riders only need to connect once to the “CET WiFi” network to remain connected on all supported CET buses.

The WiFi will also be available on some recreation shuttles such as Mount Bachelor and Ride the River.

Internet will be provided on behalf of the Verizon cellular network, and riders will incur the same coverage limitations as cell phone service in central Oregon, which may cause gaps in service.

Riders can download the Passio GO! app on their mobile phones to see real-time vehicle status and receive service alerts on CET fixed-route buses.  Real-time information and WiFi services are currently not available on CET’s Dial-A-Ride and deviated flex-route services such as Route 25 (Crooked River Ranch to Redmond) and Route 20 (Warm Springs to Madras).
