Romeo RIM has announced it has been named a Diamond Award winner by Spartan Motors Inc.
The Diamond Award is Spartan Motor’s highest award level, recognizing top-performing suppliers and key supply chain partners instrumental in helping the company continue to improve supplier quality.
Romeo RIM CEO and President Tim Howell said accepted the award on behalf of Romeo RIM along with Vice President of Business Development Matt Getty at at the Spartan Motors 15th Annual Supplier Conference held in March. It is the second year in a row that Romeo RIM has been named a Diamond Award winner.
Spartan Motors grants the Diamond Award at the recommendation of an audit performed by its Supplier Performance and Review Committee (SPARC). Spartan continuously evaluates its 1,000-plus suppliers to ensure adherence to the Company's ever-increasing quality requirements and their ability to achieve and uphold operational excellence. Suppliers that consistently exceed the performance criteria have the opportunity to increase their business levels with Spartan.
