Talkaphone has announced it will showcase at this year’s ASIS International Seminar and Exhibit in Dallas, Texas, on September 25 to 28, promoting their line of premier life safety and security communication products. Show attendees can come to booth #1123 to experience the new Via Series access and courtesy communication pedestal and the new generation Area of Rescue Command Unit Series, with industry leading hardware and software updates.

The Via series pedestal is the most recent addition to the Talkaphone access communication product line. The stylish pedestal includes a VOIP-200 series IP call station, blue LED light band and has an optional card reader and push plate switch accessories. When used in an access installation the included blue LED light band will change to green when the door is activated through the call station.

The included VOIP-200 series call station is constructed of IP66-rated, vandal resistant, marine grade stainless steel. The call station can include an ONVIF-compliant, wide-angle IP camera and can read ‘Call’ or ‘Help’ in a variety of languages.

Talkaphone’s Area of Rescue Command Unit Series is updated with code- compliant software and hardware to detect short, open and ground fault conditions on the cabling for each area of rescue station. Such trouble conditions will be annunciated and visually indicated at the AOR Command Unit. These new capabilities allow users to check for disconnections between the command unit and each individual call station.

Talkaphone continues its commitment to durable, intelligible and reliable communication with these and their other product lines.
