Current Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull visited the TransitScreen head office in Washington, DC, last week to meet with CEO Matt Caywood and other startups at 1776.
“I look forward to seeing TransitScreen live in Australia,” said Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull after seeing a live demo.
The stopover was part of a diplomatic visit to DC that included a meeting with President Barack Obama.
“Prime Minister Turnbull is a leader who understands technology and the need for urban mobility solutions,” said Caywood. “I enjoyed meeting him and can’t wait to bring our technology to Australia.”
Past dignitaries to the TransitScreen DC office include: President Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Chelsea Clinton and Queen Rania of Jordan.
