On October 15th, TransIT Services of Frederick County will be launching a new mobile ticketing app during Try TransIT Week 2018. The new mobile ticketing app, Token Transit, will allow Frederick County TransIT customers to purchase tickets directly on their phone.
The Token Transit app streamlines the ticketing process, allows customers to enter their payment information one time for easy purchasing on the go, and can be used in other cities throughout the country. Frederick County is the first transit agency in Maryland to launch the app.
Token Transit also allows parents and community organizations to purchase bus tickets online and send them directly to another phone via text message. All new app users will receive a one-time 50 percent off coupon on the One Day Pass with their first purchase.
