The bus pass kiosks are provided by DivDat and allow riders to receive instant payment confirmation, a printed official receipt and the corresponding fee-specific bus pass from the dispenser unit attached to the payment kiosk.

Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) riders can now purchase bus passes via self-serve kiosks. The kiosks are provided by Diversified Data Processing & Consulting (DivDat).

The bus pass kiosks allow riders to receive instant payment confirmation, a printed official receipt and the corresponding fee-specific bus pass from the dispenser unit attached to the payment kiosk. Four-hour, 24-hour, seven-day and 31-day passes are all available; reduced fare passes are also available for purchase by eligible riders at the kiosks with previous verification.

Currently, the kiosks are in two locations:

  1. Rosa Parks Transit Center
  2. Woodward, DDOT’s Administrative Offices

“These self-serve kiosks offer yet another great option for our riders,” says DDOT Executive Director of Transit Mikel Oglesby. “Riders now have several ways they can purchase passes – at our kiosks, in-person or on our Token Transit app. This makes buying passes easier for them, which means a smoother and more stress-free ride on DDOT.”

DivDat’s kiosks provide consumers with convenient and official self-service bill payment capabilities. Biller customers enjoy providing their consumers with additional self-service ways to pay. DivDat’s kiosks are multilingual and accept cash, personal and business checks and credit or debit cards for payment. They are ADA compliant from an accessible height basis and offer a track pad and ball for easier selection.
