ELERTS is offering a new security grant to enhance safety and security at selected transit agencies that did not receive TSGP funding.

ELERTS is offering a new security grant to enhance safety and security at selected transit agencies that did not receive TSGP funding. ELERTS provides state-of-the-art, two-way crowd-sourced incident reporting solutions for transit agencies, airports and cities throughout North America such as BART, DART, MBTA, TTC and many more. Its Transit Agency Security Grant Program will be given to 10 to-be selected transit agencies. The ELERTS Security Grant Program is a no-cost, two-year license for the ELERTS EPICenter incident management console with 2-way Text-A-Tip service for riders and employees, to help keep the transit safe.

When a transit agency deploys the ELERTS Text-A-Tip service, riders and employees may use their mobile phones to submit incident reports with photos and to engage in a two-way chat with an agency dispatcher. For transit agency grant recipients, an unlimited number of riders and employees may use their mobile phones to submit incident reports with photos and to engage in two-way chat with a transit dispatcher.  The ELERTS EPICenter incident management console also enables a dispatcher to engage in direct communication with other agencies in the growing ELERTS network.
