FareGo 360: Excellence in operations
FareGo 360 is a complete new development and is first launched at InnoTrans 2018. The software solution offers mobility providers new, data-based tools to optimise their operations and align them precisely with current and future requirements. FareGo 360 collects mass data generated in ticketing systems and makes it available to transport companies – regardless of time and place and without any in-depth expert knowledge. Simple dashboards enable intuitive, mobile access to data and analyses; adapted to the respective user profile.
FareGo Mobility Hub: Multiple Systems – One Source
Utilization of data is also the core issue of the FareGo Mobility Hub which is presented for the first time at InnoTrans 2018 as well. The FareGo Mobility Hub is a data hub for intermodal, cross-system target and real time information in public transport. Based on real-time data, it provides passengers with information about the current transport status and all possible intermodal connections in their region. A special feature is the possibility to interlink data from different transport providers and display them jointly. The FareGo Mobility Hub is based on RIMOS, a proven central data pool for intermodal passenger information in public transport developed by Scheidt & Bachmann System Technik GmbH.
FareGo Suite: Ticketing technology beyond the next level
Scheidt & Bachmann is a pioneer in the field of account-based (ID-based) ticketing technology. During InnoTrans, visitors can see for themselves all the advantages of the new technology. All data and processes are managed very efficiently by the powerful, central back office. New functions such as best price calculation, capping, flexible tariffs or Open Payment can be easily implemented.
Check-in/Be-out Ticketing App
Scheidt & Bachmann offers mobile ticketing with smartphones as a check-in/be-out solution. Passengers check-in themselves through a smartphone app when starting their trip. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons are installed on the vehicles and track the passenger’s presence during the journey. This allows for passengers to move without any barriers within the complete network – from bus to rail and back. As soon as the app does not receive any more data the trip ends automatically (be-out). The related best price calculations as well as all other processes are performed by Scheidt & Bachmann’s powerful account based backend system.
FareGo ViTA enables personal assistance at ticket machines
The virtual ticket agent FareGo ViTA transforms ticket vending machines into fully operational ticket agencies, offering passengers personal assistance to help them buy their tickets. At InnoTrans visitors can experience the system live: at the FareGo Sales ST|50 ticket machine, they can request personal assistance with just one click. Via the call centre interface, they can then support ticket sales and operate the machine using live-chat functionalities.
Anniversary: 40 years of Fare collection systems
From a ticket vending machine manufacturer to a global provider of integrated ticketing systems – Scheidt & Bachmann’s Fare collection division is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. On 19th September 2018 Scheidt & Bachmann invited customers and partners to celebrate this anniversary during InnoTrans: 4 p.m., stand 203, hall 2.1.
