Metro and Caltrans Recirculate Focused Draft Environmental Document for 710 North Project

Metro in partnership with Caltrans has prepared an updated Focused Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report/ Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statemen.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, in partnership with the California Department of Transportation, has prepared an updated Focused Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report/ Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Focused RDEIR/SDEIS) for the SR 710 North Project and invites community members to attend a public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, June 13, in Pasadena.

Metro and Caltrans are seeking solutions to traffic congestion and mobility constraints affecting State Route 710 and other interstate freeways in the study area. The Focused RDEIR/SDEIS provides additional analysis on potential adverse effects to historic properties in Pasadena, South Pasadena and unincorporated portions of East Los Angeles. Specifically, the report addresses changes to the findings on cultural resources in the project corridor.

The Focused RDEIR/SDEIS was released and circulated for public comment on May 18, 2018. The public will be provided with a 45-day review period. Comments will be accepted until July 5, 2018. Comments on this focused draft will be addressed and included in the Final / for the project.
