Harsco Rail has announced the company’s participation in the 27th International Exhibition for Track Technology – IAF Munster, Tuesday, May 30 through June 1 in Munster, Germany.
Harsco Rail has announced the company’s participation in the 27th International Exhibition for Track Technology – IAF Munster, Tuesday, May 30 through June 1 in Munster, Germany.

With over 200 exhibitors from 21 countries, around 25,000 attendees and a gigantic exhibition area in the indoor and outdoor area of Halle Münsterland, the IAF is by far the largest fair in the world in the field of track technology. New developments and innovations from the fields of rail technology and infrastructure will be presented here.

Harsco Rail will be exhibiting the Multipurpose Stoneblower, a revolutionary machine developed specifically as an alternative to traditional tamping methods for the restoration of track’s vertical and lateral alignment. Once stoneblowing is complete, the result is a smooth track surface, which is immediately available for unrestricted line speeds.

The Multipurpose Stoneblower has many innovative features, including:

  • An average output of 440 m/hr (1,400 ft./hr)
