CCI Thermal Technologies Inc. recently announced the acquisition of the railroad track and switch heating and snow removal business of Hovey Industries Inc. CCI Thermal now designs and manufactures HellFire gas fired hot air blowers, Inferno gas blowers, horizontal air curtains, tie ducts, track ducts, replacement parts and associated equipment.
For over 37 years, Hovey has been the leading manufacturer of gas fired rail heating systems and horizontal air curtains. Hovey’s blue flame burner technology and renowned HellFire gas fired hot air blower design has transformed the railroad track and switch heating industry.
The HellFire and Inferno product lines will be offered under the Fastrax brand together with CCI Thermal’s patented SwitchBlade flat electric switch heater.
