Donate to Toys for Tots and get a free Northstar Family Pass

Nov. 23, 2015

Northstar customers can help brighten a child's holiday – and get a free Northstar Family Pass.

There are two great ways to drop off toys this season! Bring a new, unwrapped toy on your way into downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday, Dec. 16. Or bring your whole family on the train for a special “Ride with Santa” on Dec. 19.

U.S. Marines, Metro Transit and BNSF staff will be at Target Field on Dec. 16 & 19 to accept donations from Northstar customers.

In exchange for donations of new, unwrapped toys, customers will receive a free Northstar Family Pass to use at a later date (limit one pass per customer) or share with a friend.

Donations will be accepted:

  • Dec. 16 (5:30-8:30 a.m. & 3-6:15 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Dec. 19 "Ride with Santa" (schedule below)

In addition there will be a special toy drop-off event on Saturday, Dec. 19 that includes a ride with Santa to Target Field Station. Festivities start at noon on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Big Lake Station. Ride the Northstar with Santa all the way to downtown Minneapolis. Drop off your donations and pose with Santa at Target Field Station, write a letter to Santa, enjoy refreshments and shop downtown.
