Delaware River Port Authority officials issued a reminder that the deadline for online purchase of PATCO Papal Visit Freedom Cards is 11:59 p.m. Sept. 11. The deadline was set to allow for processing time and mail delivery in time for customers to receive purchased cards for use during the Papal Visit weekend (Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sept. 27).
“While the Freedom Cards will no longer be available for online purchase after Sept. 11, we will continue to make them available, on a walk-up basis, at our Broadway Station, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and at our Woodcrest Station, Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., until Thursday, Sept. 24,” said PATCO General Manager John Rink.
