NJ: William Crosbie Appointed Senior VP, Systra North America

William Crosbie, president and CEO of Systra USA, will manage the company's new North American Region with an expansion into the Canadian Market.

William Crosbie, president and CEO of Systra USA, will manage the company's new North American Region with an expansion into the Canadian Market.  With Support from Canarail, he will be responsible for the company’s activities in this expanding market.  

Joining Systra USA in 2012 as president and CEO, Crosbie has repositioned the company in alignment with the Systra group vision by focusing on key markets and remaining dedicated to expanding the company’s rail expertise.  He has been instrumental in the restructuring of Systra USA to be more responsive to client and market needs, as well as spearheaded the investment and redevelopment of RAILSIM which will be rolled out later this year. 

Prior to joining SystraCrosbie held leadership roles in both the public and private sectors in North America.  He served as Amtrak’s Chief Operating Officer, providing strategic Leadership and supported the advancement of Amtrak’s high speed rail program.  Starting his career in Canada with the Canadian Pacific Rail System, Crosbie has also served in numerous executive roles at the Toronto Transit Commission, including general superintendent of signals, electrical, communications and subway transportation.
